Cow vigilantes beat up Gwalior-Ahmedabad loco pilot thrice after he accidentally kills a cow




A driver running a Superfast train between Gwalior-Ahmedabad was beaten atleast thrice in different places during his working hour.  It is being said that a cow got on the track between Sidhpur and Mehsana and the train driver removed the train from him, after which the so-called Go defenders beat the train driver.


 The FIR lodged in Mehsana GRP said that the train was passing through Patan's Sidhpur junction on Saturday at around 11.00 hours.  It is alleged that even after having a red signal, the loco pilot G.A. Hla did not stop the train and got a train on the cow on the front track.



 After the cow's cut, Hale approached railway staff and asked to remove the body of the stranded cow in the train engine.  At the same time, a thirty-year-old passenger got off the train and started calling him a bad word.  He accused the loco pilot of deliberately killing the cow.  The young man described himself as a gigant.  There is allegation that the young man started to beat Hale  At the same time about 150 other cops came there and they also tortured Dheela.

 Hale approached railway police and informed about the incident.  The matter was made quiet  The body of the cow was removed in some way.  The train was again stopped at Kamli and Unjha junction so that the bodies trapped in the engine could be removed properly.  During this, the same person again tortured Ghali.  In Mehsana, when Hali had stopped the train for help from the police, he was attacked for the third time.  This time the accused was brought to GRP police station in custody.

 Mehsana GRP inspector Vinod Jaiswal said that when the railway staff were cutting to remove the body of the cow, the young man got angry.  The young man has been identified as Bipin Singh Rajput.  The 28-year-old is a resident of Odhav.  Police said that the case has been registered against the youth in various sections of the IPC.
