BHUBANESWAR: The Central University of Odisha (CUO), Koraput, has secured 20th rank among 40 central universities of the country. It was revealed by the rankings released by the Union ministry of education.

The score is based on an evaluation on key parameters fixed under one memorandum of understanding (MoU) in 2019-20.

All the universities were required to sign a tripartite MoU with MHRD (now ministry of education) and university grants commission ( UGC ) for continuous evaluation.

Out of 283.5 marks, the CUO has secured 171.8 marks, which is 61 per cent of the total score. This performance helped the central university to get 20th rank.
