In order to restore the greenery destroyed in cyclone Fani, Odisha government has planned a massive plantation drive alongwide the coastal regions of the state.

The winds that blew with speed of about 200 kmph has uprooted more than 20 lakh trees and the Rs 188 crore five-year plan now aims to green barricade on coastal area and also the cities such as Puri, Bhubaneswar and Cuttack hit by Fani.

The encounter in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday where the Indian Security forces killed six terrorists have also revealed plans of another major terror attack in the valley.

According to a report by DNA a map recovered from the body of one of the terrorists showed what is believed to be an Indian Air Force Base in Srinagar. India has expressed concerns over the delay in reimbursement to countries providing peacekeeping troops and police for UN missions.

US luxury department store Nordstrom has said that they have withdrawn a turban by Gucci after the Sikh community complained that it was disrespectful for their religion.
