DC Ganderbal reviews dev works, stock position in district

District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ganderbal, Hashmat Ali Khan today chaired a review meeting on the progress of various ongoing development works under various schemes in the district.While reviewing the status of various projects, DDC directed all concerned officers to accelerate the pace of work in their respective areas and stressed on adoption of more innovative methods besides the involvement of common masses in the development process so that the set targets are achieved on time.The DDC directed all the concerned departments to work in coordinated manner so that progress of developmental works is not hampered.Later, DDC also reviewed the stock position of essential commodities like rice, atta, sugar, kerosene and LPG in the district.

The Assistant Director FCS & CA informed that sufficient stock of all essential commodities is available in the district to cater the needs of general public.Among others the meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Shafaqat Iqbal, ADC Showkat Ahmad, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Chief Planning Officer and other concerned.
