DDC Anantnag reviews ongoing projects

District Development Commissioner (DDC) Anantnag, Khalid Jahangir today inspected various ongoing developmental projects of Anantnag town to take stock of their progress.The DDC visited under construction Shopping Complex at old SRTC Yard and took stock of the pace of work. He directed the concerned Executive Engineer to complete the tress within 20 days, start multiple activities, double the work force and provide the report on daily basis to complete the construction of the project by January 2020.He also directed the concerned for replacement of ten wooden electric poles with steel tubular poles along with the conductors for Sheikh – ul – Alam Masjid Mohalla, besides construction of the approach path to the Masjid within a month.The DDC also visited Multilevel Car Parking at Janglatmandi, being constructed under AMRUT, to inspect the pace of work and directed the concerned agency to expedite the work, lay the slab of the top floor within 15 days and complete the project by January 2020.

With the completion of the project, parking  problems of the town will be solved besides decongesting the traffic.He also visited Community Centre Ashajipora and directed the Executive Officer Municipal Council Anantnag to complete the development of lawn and other construction of the project within one month under 14th FC. The DDC was informed that 80% work of the Community Centre has been completed.Executive Engineer ULB, Chief Executive Officer Municipal Council Anantnag and Other Officers accompanied the DDC.
