DDC Pulwama reviews availability of essential medicines in district

District Development Commissioner Pulwama today convened a meeting to review the availability of essential medicines in the district.The meeting was attended by Chief medical Officer, Medical superintendent and all block medical officers of the district. During the meeting, detailed discussion was held on various issues and availability of essential medicines in the district.

The DDC was informed that there is sufficient stock of essential drugs and other medical products. It was given out that all essential drugs have been supplied to different PHCs, CHCs and other hospitals in the district.The DDC urged upon the concerned BMOs to share the instance of shortage of any medical products for early procurement, so that patients wouldn’t face any inconvenience during their treatment. He stressed upon concerned to improve the patient care and cleanliness, contain referrals and achieve overall notable improvement.
