DDC visits District Hospital Pulwama

District Development Commissioner Pulwama, Dr  Raghav Langar today visited District Hospital Pulwama and inspected various sections and took stock of the quality health services and medical facilities being provided to the patients here.During his inspection, DDC visited different sections and wards including emergency, operation theatre, ECG unit, Dental section, X-ray, Dialysis centre , ECHO Lab, Gynae, and Post Operation wards.
He inquired about the availability of medicines, diagnostic and other facilities available in the hospital.While interacting with the patients, DDC inquired about their well being and facilities provided to them.Later, DDC took a review of overall scenario of district hospital which includes quality healthcare, emergency services, critical care and trauma management and intensive care units, district mental health care unit, referrals, sanitation, blood bank, non communicable diseases, power auditing, implementation of Ayushmaan Bharat and other Govt sponsored schemes.On the occasion , Medical Superintendent Dr  Abdul Rashid Para informed the  DDC about the  innovative measures  taken by the hospital administration CCTV Surveillance, Color Coded Bed Sheets, Color Coded IPD Tickets, Cashless Services, Public Grievance & Redressal System, Biomedical Waste Management as per 2016 Guidelines, Biometric Attendance System, CR/Digital X-Ray System (PPP), Processing Biochemistry Lab (PPP), Blood Bank, Establishment of Hi-Tech Lab, Computerization of Records and e-paper services.He also apprised the DDC regarding the best practice models adopted by the DH Pulwama.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC urged upon health functionaries to ensure better healthcare facilities to the patients and come up to the expectations of the patients and enjoined upon the hospital administration to focus on quality assurance, accessible affordable health care so that satisfaction level among the users of Govt health facilities is enhanced and people repose faith in public health.He assured all possible support related to better health care services being provided at the hospital.
The DDC was accompanied by Chief Medical officer Dr Hasina Mir and Other Concerned officials.
