Tirupati: Deepavali asthanam will be held at Lord Venkateswara temple on the eve of the festival of lights at Tirumala on October 27.
As part of the asthanam, Lord Malayappa swamy accompanied by his two consorts goddesses Sridevi and Bhudevi would be seated on the Sarvabhoopala vahanam at the Ghanta Mandapam inside the sanctum sanctorum near the Garudalwar sub shrine. The temple complex will be lit up with earthen lamps.
In view of the festivities, TTD has suspended several arjitha sevas including Kalyanotsavam and arjitha Brahmotsavam on October 27.
Meanwhile, the three-day Astottara Satakundatmaka Maha Shanti yagam concluded at Lord Kalyana Venkateswara swamy temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram near Tirupati on Friday.
