Dehradun city hot spot area declared, 18 infected patients found

The government has declared the city of Dehradun a hot spot as the coronavirus has increased. Additionally, to prevent community spread of the virus, antibody monitoring can be done throughout the region for special surveillance and identification of infected people. Along with this, the most positive cases of corona infections in the state have been found in Dehradun.

18 of the total of 31 infected people in the state are from Dehradun. The first case of corona infection was also found in the trainee IFS officer of Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy, Dehradun.

Subsequently, coronavirus infection has been found in patients from FIR, Chakrata, Doiwala, Lakkhibagh, Kargi Grant, Bhagat Singh Colony, Chukkhuwala, Selakui region. The government has identified Dehradun as a hot spot area on the basis of corona infected patients. Along with this, in the mohallas and colonies of the city where there is a high number of corona infected, antibody blood testing started to identify the corona infected person. So that the infected people can be identified as soon as possible.

The cities where corona infected patients have reached more than 10. Those areas are being declared hot spots. 18 cases have been found in Dehradun so far. Dehradun has been declared a hot spot, along with the District Magistrate has been asked to do antibody blood testing in the areas where corona patients and people are more in contact. Rapid investigations may lead to greater sampling.
