Dejected over exam failure, 2 end lives

Hyderabad: Upset over failing the police constable exam, two youngsters from Vikarabad district ended their lives by hanging on Monday.

According to Bantwaram sub-inspector Praveen Reddy, Allipuram Kumar, 25, hung himself at his house in Bantwaram. “Kumar could not clear the constable exam even in his second attempt.

He was upset for over two months,” the SI said. Kumar was a graduate.

Similarly, Doma Rohit, 24, an engineering graduate from Yalal, committed suicide at his residence. Rohit failed to clear the constable exam by a few marks. Both youngsters did not leave any suicide note. Cops booked cases under CrPC section 174. TNN
