Delhi will receive in the next two days, know what the Meteorological Department says

New Delhi: Light and moderate rainfall is expected in Delhi and many areas around it within a few hours. Light to moderate rain will occur in Delhi for the next two to three days. The Arabian Sea and Monsoon trough (a low pressure limit) passing near the country's capital Delhi are expected to receive rain due to moisture.

Delhi's Safdarjung station recorded the highest rainfall in August for 24 hours since Wednesday evening and Thursday night in 2013. The station recorded 83.8 mm of rain between 5.30 pm on Wednesday and 2.30 pm on Thursday, the highest since 95.2 mm on 21 August 2013. The lack of rain in the capital (from 1 June) fell from 35% on Wednesday to 10% on Thursday, which is considered to be in the 'normal' category for the monsoon. Palam station recorded 99.9 mm, while Lodhi Road recorded 84 mm and Ridge at 98 mm. According to the Regional Meteorological Center, Delhi, water was rained between 11.30 pm on Wednesday and 2.30 pm and 2.30 pm and 5.30 pm on Thursday.

Giving information, Kuldeep Srivastava, head of the regional weather forecasting center, said that we can expect more rain. Moderate rain may be recorded in NCR while light to moderate rain will be recorded in Delhi. The monsoon trough is passing over Ferozepur, Narnaul, Gwalior, Satna, Ambikapur and Chaibasa towards the low pressure area over the Bay of Bengal. There is also a cyclonic circulation over South Haryana. Therefore, water will continue to rain for two to three days.
