Disciplinary proceedings ended in NH 74 scam in Uttarakhand

Dehradun: The government has given a clean chit to IAS officer Chandresh Yadav, who was charged in NH 74 compensation scam in Udham Singh Nagar city of Uttarakhand state of the country. In his case, Secretary Shailesh Bagouli was made the investigating officer. The government has abolished disciplinary action, alerting Chandresh to the Future on the basis of the investigation report.

Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi issued orders related to this. When contacted, Chandresh Yadav confirmed that he was given a clean chit. He told that the government has also given him a graded salary of Rs 8700 as secretary in-charge from the backdate. Chandresh Yadav is currently an Additional Secretary in the Government. When he was posted in Udham Singh Nagar city, he was accused of showing the wrong compensation of land of NH-74 as an arbitrator at that time.

It was alleged that the wrong compensation was fixed by showing agricultural land as unskilled, and financial rules were ignored. Similar allegations were made on DM, another IAS officer was also accused. The government suspended both bureaucrats on the basis of faults. Subsequently, the suspension of both the officers was restored. The responsibility of investigating Chandresh Yadav's case was entrusted to Secretary Shailesh Bagauli. Bagauli completed the investigation of his case and handed it over to the government. After answering his investigation report and Chandresh Yadav's charge sheet and examining the ongoing proceedings and decisions in the courts, the Personnel and Vigilance Department has given him free from disciplinary action and has also been given the higher pay scale of the Secretary in charge from the previous date.
