DMK general council meeting to be held on Nov 11

CHENNAI: DMK general council meeting will be held at Royapettah YMCA ground here on November 11.

In a statement on Thursday, DMK general secretary K Anbazhagan said the meeting would discuss preparations for local body elections. It would pass the audited account for the last financial year and changes in the party's sub-laws.

There are more than 3,000 general council members in the party and all have been asked to participate in the meeting without fail.

The meeting that was originally scheduled to be held on September 6 was postponed due to the announcement byelections to Vikravandi and Nanguneri assembly constituencies.
