Doors of temples opened for Jammu devotees

Chamba: The whole world is suffering due to Corona epidemic. Meanwhile, in the midst of increasing cases of COVID-19 in Himachal, DC Vivek Bhatia of Chamba has done another feat. Where the government has closed the doors of temples for the devotees of Himachal, DC Chamba has opened the gates of the temples for the Manimahesh Yatra for the devotees of Doda city of Jammu and Kashmir.

Janmashtami's batch of 40 devotees from the neighboring state has reached Bharmour on Saturday and Sunday.

Some have camped at the Chaurasi temple for Janmashtami bath from 11 August night to 12 August, in which a large number of devotees from Jammu come to the temple and there is a case of some people staying in the Chaurasi campus. After getting up, the administration has started contact with the main people with the batch. After that, only 15 devotees got permission to go to Dal Lake.

Now the question arises that if only 15 were to be sent to Dal, then why was 40 allowed? Recently, in the meeting of Manimahesh Trust Committee, only nine people had decided to go to Manimahesh on the day of Janmashtami bath. On the other hand, in Chamba, COVID-19 cases are increasing. In Dhadog area, there have been 70 cases in three days. DC and DPRO Chamba wants information in writing about this, but no response is received until the news is written. The case is now being investigated.
