DRIPPIN's Joo Changuk takes temporary break due to health issues

Joo Changuk from DRIPPIN is hitting pause to focus on his well-being. Woollim Entertainment, the group's agency, recently announced that Joo Changuk will be taking a temporary break following medical advice to prioritize his health.

It all started when Joo Changuk began feeling under the weather. He wisely decided to seek medical attention, and after a check-up, doctors advised him to take a break due to a respiratory issue.
Consequently, he'll be stepping away from group activities for a short period to recuperate fully. Meanwhile, DRIPPIN will continue to shine on stage with their remaining five members.

Theteam, comprising Hwang Yunseong, Lee Hyeop, Kim Dongyun, Kim Minseo, and Cha Junho, will carry on with their scheduled performances and promotions. Fans can rest assured that updates about Joo Changuk's progress will be shared as soon as they become available.

Despite this temporary setback, DRIPPIN is all set to make a comeback with their fourth single album, " Beautiful MAZE ," slated for release on April 3. The group is enthusiastic about this new chapter and is looking forward to delivering more amazing performances to their fans.

This isn't the first change DRIPPIN has experienced. Last year, the group bid farewell to Alex, who decided to part ways with the group and terminate his contract with Woollim Entertainment. The decision was made after thoughtful discussions with both the agency and his parents regarding his future. Since then, DRIPPIN has continued their journey with six members, including Joo Changuk.

DRIPPIN burst onto the K-pop scene in 2020 under Woollim Entertainment's guidance. Their debut EP, "Boyager," marked their entry into the industry on October 28, 2020. Originally comprising seven members, the group's journey has been marked by resilience and evolution.

Prior to their debut, all members except Alex participated in the reality competition show, Produce X 101. Notably, Cha Jun-ho clinched the ninth position, earning a spot in the project group X1. The remaining members, along with trainee Lee Sung-jun, released the single "1M1S" under the moniker W Project 4.

Transitioning from trainees to established artists, DRIPPIN's trajectory has been documented through reality programs like "We are Drippin," offering fans a glimpse into their journey. Since their debut, they've released a series of successful projects, including EPs, single albums, and a studio album, "Villain: The End."

Despite the challenges, DRIPPIN remains a beacon of talent and resilience in the ever-evolving landscape of K-pop, captivating audiences with their infectious energy and unwavering dedication to their craft. As Joo Changuk takes time to recharge, fans eagerly await his return, confident that the group will continue to shine brightly, united in their passion for music.
