EC schedule out, no bypoll in Huzurnagar
Hyderabad: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Sunday announced that bypolls to the four assembly constituencies in Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Tripura, and Uttar Pradesh will be held on September 23.
However, the ECI did not announce the bypoll to HuzurnaSgar assembly seat in Telangana. Byelections will be held to Dantewada seat in Chhattisgarh, Hamirpur in Uttar Pradesh, Pala in Kerala and Bhadarghat in Tripura.
However, it is being anticipated that the ECI will soon come out with notification for bypoll to Huzurnagar seat too.
Menwhile, the BJP, after its victory in four Lok Sabha seats in Telangana, is gearing up to win Huzurnagar bypolls. On the other hand, the ruling TRS in the state too wants to wrest the seat from the Congress and defeat the BJP. On its part, the Congress said they would retain the seat with a huge majority.
