ECoR Announces Chhat Puja Special Trains From Puri

Bhubaneswar: Keeping in view the heavy rush in trains for Chhat Puja Festival, East Coast Railway has announced special train between Puri and Hatia. This Train will leave Puri station at 1.30 pm on October 30 towards Hatia via Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Angul, Sambalpur City, Jharsuguda, Rourkela. In the return direction, this train will leave Hatia at 9 am on October 31, 2019.

It will cover passengers from Puri, Khurda, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Angul, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargrh/Rourkela areas.

This train will comprise one AC-2 Tier, 03 AC-3 Tier, 10 Sleeper Class, 04 Second Class Seating and 02 Guard cum luggage Vans. Passengers can take tickets from PRS & General Booking counters and can also book tickets on their mobiles and IRCTC website.

Apart from this, Special Trains are also running towards Patna and Bhagalpur.

08423/08424 Puri-Patna-Puri Special Train will leaving Puri at 9:25 AM on 26th October and 2nd November, 2019 (Saturdays) and reaching at Patna at 6:15 AM on the following days. In the return direction, this train is leaving Patna at 1:45 PM on 27th October and 3rd November, 2019 (Sundays) and will arriving at Puri at 9:45 AM on the following days.

This train has 09 Sleeper Class, 05 Second Class Seating and 02 Guard cum luggage vans in its compositions having stoppages at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Hijli, Midnapur, Bankura, Adra, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Mokama, Bakhtiapur between Puri and Patna.

Similarly, 08425/08426 Puri-Bhagalpur-Puri Special Train leaving Puri at 10:30 AM on 30th October and 6th November, 2019 (Wednesdays) and reaching at Bhagalpur at 7 AM on the following days. In the return direction, this train is leaving Bhagalpur at 8:30 AM on 31st October and 7th November, 2019 (Thursdays) and arriving at Puri at 6:45 PM on the following days.

This train has 09 Sleeper Class, 05 Second Class Seating and 02 Guard cum luggage vans in its compositions having stoppages at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Hijli, Midnapur, Bankura, Adra, Asansol, Durgapur, Sainthia, Rampurhat, Gumani, Barharwa and Sahibganj between Puri and Bhagalpur.
