Election Results 2019: The Shiv Sena- BJP Alliance Paves its Path in Kalyan, Bhiwandi, Thane and Palghar

Kalyan, Thane and Bhiwandi voted in the Phase 4 of Lok Sabha elections on Monday, April 29. 

In Kalyan district, Shiv Sena's Shrikant Shinde won with 5,59,723 votes whereas his counterpart Babaji Patil from NCP received 2,15,380 votes. Others secured 65,572 votes. Notably, in 2014 Shrikant Shinde had won against NCP's candidate by a margin of 2,50,749 votes.

Kalyan's total male turnout was 45.03 per cent whereas, female turnout was 40.32 per cent. 

Thane's Rajan Vichare from Shiv Sena won with 7,40,969 votes with NCP's Anand Paranjpe securing 3,28,824 votes. Others bagged 47,432 votes. In 2014, Rajan Vichare had defeated NCP's Sanjeev Naik.

Thane's male voter turnout was 50.84 per cent and woman voter turnout was 49.27 per cent. 

Bhiwandi's BJP candidate Kapil Patil won with a whopping 5,23,583 votes, whereas Congress' Suresh Taware bagged 3,67,254 votes. Others managed to secure 51,455 votes. Interestingly, Kapil Patil had also won in 2014.  

In Palghar, Shiv Sena's Rajendra Gavit won with 5,80,479 votes whereas Baliram Jadhav from Bahujan Vikas Aaghadi bagged 4,91,596 votes and others secured 39,932 votes.
