Engg work: Trains partly cancelled, rescheduled

Madurai: Due to engineering work in Madurai division, railways have announced the following changes in train services from November 10 to 15. Train no. 56769 Palakkad – Tiruchendur passenger scheduled to leave at 4.10am will be partially cancelled between Sattur and Tirunelveli on November 11 and 13. The train will be partially cancelled between Madurai and Tirunelveli on November 12 and 15.



Train no. 56770 Tiruchendur – Palakkad passenger scheduled to leave at 11.40 am will be partially cancelled between Tirunelveli and Sattur on November 11 and 13. The same train will be partially cancelled between Tirunelveli and Madurai on November 12 and 15. Train No. 56770 Tiruchendur – Palakkad passenger will be rescheduled to leave Madurai at 6.45pm (late by 145 minutes) on November 12 and 15. Train nos. 56319/56320 Nagercoil – Coimbatore – Nagercoil passenger will be partially cancelled between Kovilpatti and Dindigul from November 10 to 15, except November 14.

Due to non-interlocked working carried out by the Central Railway between Kalaburagi and Savalgi railway stations in Karnataka to commission the double line, the Thiruvananthapuram division has announced temporary diversion of train services from Nagercoil to Mumbai CSMT. Train no. 16340 Nagercoil – Mumbai CSMT Express leaving on November 18, 19, 20, 22, 25, 26 and 27 will be diverted through Erode, Palakkad, Mangalore Junction, Thokur, Roha, Panvel and Thane. Train no. 16339 Mumbai CSMT – Nagercoil Express, scheduled on November 17, 20, 21, 22, 24, 27, 28 and 29 will be diverted to run via Thane, Panvel, Roha, Thokur, Mangalore Junction, Palakkad and Erode. Train no. 16352 Nagercoil – Mumbai CSMT Express, leaving Nagercoil on November 17, 21, 24 and 28 will be diverted through Dindigul, Erode, Palakkad, Mangalore Junction, Thokur, Roha, Panvel and Thane.
