Shoppers in stitches after saying £65 Hugo Boss shirt 'makes you look like McDonald's worker'

When it comes to fashion, it's usually a personal choice - but that's not to say there can still be some questionable items out there.

Now people have been left in hysterics after seeing a designer polo top that closely resembles the uniform worn at McDonald's. The polo top in question is from Hugo Boss and it costs £89 - however, people aren't sure about the design as it looks similar to the

fast food chains polo tops.

The grey and yellow designer polo has gone viral on Facebook as thousands of people notice the hilarious and easily recognisable similarities.

It was posted to a 'meme' account, called The Only Way Is Glasgow, as the image re-surfaced image of the shirt could be seen alongside the words: "£89 to look like you work at McDonald's". The caption of the post reads: "Can a get a big mac BOSS."

People were quick to share their thoughts, as one Facebook user jibed: "I'll tell you what I'm loving it." While another jokingly asked: "But do they do fries with that." And a third added: "Really looks so alike."

"I will have a happy meal please," another quipped. A former McDonald's worker also chimed in and wrote: "U guys are laughing, but Mac used to have the most comfortable and high-quality uniforms. I wanted to keep mine but couldn't."

For anyone interested in buying the shirt themselves, it seems Hugo Boss no longer sells the exact one online anymore. But, it is selling a 'lookalike' alternative, which costs £65. Hugo Boss Paddy Polo Shirt is available on Flannels and comes in as many as 32 different colours online - one of which being dark grey. This colourway option comes with yellow accents around the collar and sleeves.

Another clothing item that has left shoppers in laughter is a 'saucy' roleplay set found in Asda, priced at just a fiver. The supermarket giant has rolled back the price by £2, offering a bargain for those looking to impersonate an Asda employee. It's complete with 30 accessories including a name badge and a deli counter worker's hat.

Social media users have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to share their amusement, with one posting a picture of the item and quipping: "Anyone up for a bit of roleplay?"

Responses ranged from humorous Valentine's Day plans to playful disappointment, with comments such as, "Valentine's Day sorted," and "Husband was expecting French Maid what he actually got was Asda Deli Girl, his disappointment was palpable."
