Brijendra Kala calls his childhood Holi celebrations 'the most delightful memories'

Brijendra Kala, a prominent actor known for his remarkable performances in various films and series like ‘Luck Shots’, ‘Murder Mubarak’, and ‘Mamla Legal Hai’, recently shared his thoughts and plans for the upcoming festival of Holi, along with cherished memories from his childhood celebrations.

Despite being occupied with shooting for an upcoming project a day before Holi, Brijendra Kala expressed his sentiments about the festival.

He mentioned that he feels he has outgrown the age for playing Holi but fondly reminisces about his childhood festivities. His schedule for this year’s Holi revolves around work, with shooting being the main focus, followed by returning home the next day. However, he eagerly anticipates the delicious gujiyas that his wife prepares for the occasion.

Hailing from Mathura, renowned for its vibrant Holi celebrations, Brijendra Kala shared some of his favorite childhood memories associated with the festival. He recalled the lively atmosphere and early onset of festivities leading up to Holi, along with engaging in fun activities with friends. From collecting wooden items for the Holika Dahan ceremony to playing pranks with hot water-filled pichkaris and balloons, he cherished these joyful moments from his childhood in Mathura.

When asked about his favorite Bollywood Holi song, Brijendra Kala mentioned ‘Aaj Na Chhodenge’ from the movie ‘Katti Patang’ as a tune he grew up with and ‘Rang Barse’ as another popular Holi song that holds special memories. These songs, he emphasized, are timeless and evoke nostalgic joy during the festive season.

In his recent projects like ‘Luck Shots’, where he portrayed Madan Lal in the story ‘Raasta Bandh’, ‘Murder Mubarak’ as Guppie Ram, and ‘Mamla Legal Hai’ as Adv. PP, Brijendra Kala has been garnering praise for his versatile performances. His upcoming satirical comedy film ‘Good Luck’ is set for a theatrical release on April 5, 2024, adding to his successful streak in the entertainment industry.
