Admissions start tomorrow in private schools in Delhi, know what documents will be required.
Delhi School EWS Admission 2024: If you want to get your child admitted to Delhi schools, then this news is useful for you. Delhi Directorate of Education has released the notification for EWS Admission 2024-25 in private schools. According to the notice, registration for admission will start from tomorrow i.e. 30th April. Parents and guardians of students will be able to apply by visiting the official website edudel.nic.in.
According to the rules, it is mandatory in private schools to give admission to students of economically weaker category (EWS), deprived groups, and children of CWSN on 25 percent of their total seats. The allotment of these seats will be done through a computerized lottery system. The computerized draw will take place on May 20.
What should be the age limit?
For information, let us tell you that for admission in pre-school or nursery classes under EWS and DG categories, the age of children should be between 3 to 5 years. Whereas, for CWD or CESN category students, the age limit is between 3 to 7 years. Whereas, for children of EWS and DG categories, who want to be admission to pre-primary or KG classes, their age should be between 4 to 6 years.
