IIT JAM 2024 Counselling: The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) will close the Joint Entrance Examination Counseling registration process for Masters (JAM) 2024 tomorrow i.e. on April 29. The registration process is going on on the official website.
IIT JAM 2024 Counselling: How many seats are there
IIT JAM 2024 aims to fill approximately 3,000 seats in the IITs and over 2,000 seats in the Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru (IISc) for the academic year 2024-25. JAM scores are used for admission to various programs including MSc, MSc Tech, MS Research, MSc-MTech dual degree, joint MSc – PhD, and MSc – PhD dual degree at participating institutions.
IIT JAM 2024 Counselling: How much is the seat booking fee?
Candidates who accept the allotted seats will have to pay the IIT JAM 2024 seat booking fee for confirmation. Candidates belonging to the General and Other Backward Class (OBC) categories are required to pay Rs 10,000. On the other hand, candidates belonging to a Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Physically Handicapped (PH) have to pay Rs 5,000 as an IIT JAM seat booking fee.
