Recruitment in the Indian Army: The Indian Air Service has released applications for short-term commission in the flying branch and short-term commission in technical and non-technical branches for ground duty. This application has been issued for the Air Force Common Entrance Examination (AF CAT-02/2023 NCC Special).

Interested candidates may send their applications online at https://afcat.cdac.in/AFCAT/ website.

According to the Air Force, these applications are for the course starting in July 2024. Male and female candidates willing to apply will have to register online by visiting https://careerindianairforce.cdac.in/ or https://afcat.cdac.in/AFCAT/. After this, he will be able to make his applications from 11 am on June 1, 2023, to 5 pm on June 30, 2023. Air Force has released a total of 276 vacancies for AFCAT-02/2023.

How many vacancies for which post
Air Force has taken out a total of 11 vacancies for flying branches under AF CAT entry, out of which 5 are for male and 6 for female candidates. Similarly, there are a total of 151 vacancies for Ground Duty (Technical Branch), of which 136 are for males and 15 are for females. There are 114 vacancies for Ground Duty (Non-Technical Branch). Of these, 99 are for men and 15 for women. These recruitments of the non-technical branch are for Administration, Logistics, Accounts, Education, and Meteorology Department.

What is the age limit for application?
The age of the applicants applying to the flying branch should be between 20 to 24 years as on 1st July 2024. That is, these applicants should have been born between July 2, 2000 to July 1, 2004. At the same time, the age of the applicants applying for ground duty should be between 20 to 26 years as on July 1, 2024. That is, the birth of these applicants should be between 2 July 1998 to 1 July 2004.

How much will be the salary?
After getting commissioned in the Indian Air Force, the selected candidates will get the rank of Flying Officer. Also, according to the 10th level of the Seventh Central Pay Commission, a salary of Rs 56100 to Rs 177500 will be paid. Apart from this, an MSP of Rs.15500 will be available. 56100 per month will be paid during training as Flying Cated.
