NTA released academic calendar, know when will JEE Main, NEET, CUET, UGC NET exams be held?

NTA Exam Calendar 2024-25: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released its academic calendar on Tuesday. According to the calendar, Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2024 will be conducted in two sessions in January-February and April, while the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate or NEET UG 2024 exam will be held on May 5. Let us tell you that the first session of JEE Main is from 24 January to 1 February, while the second session is from 1 to 15 April 2024.

Let us tell you that JEE Main is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering and technology courses in IIIT, NIT and other participating engineering colleges. It also serves as the qualifying examination for IIT JEE Advanced. Whereas, NEET UG is for admission in undergraduate medical courses in all the institutions across the country.

CUET UG exam

NTA exam calendar further states that the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG is scheduled between May 15 to 31. CUET PG is between 11th to 28th March. At the same time, the University Grant Commission National Eligibility Test or UGC NET 2024 will be conducted from June 10 to 21. Let us tell you that the results of computer based examinations will be declared within 3 weeks. In case of NEET UG, which is an offline exam, the results will be declared by the second week of June.

Other information

NTA started releasing the exam calendar last year to inform the candidates about the tentative dates well in advance. However, this time the probable dates of ICAR entrance exam have not been included in the list.
