SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024: The Staff Selection Commission is soon going to start the online registration process for General Duty (GD) Constable. Under this recruitment drive, recruitment will be done on 75,768 posts of constable. Interested and eligible candidates can apply on the official website - ssc.nic.in once the registration process has started.

As per the schedule, the registrations for SSC GD Constable Recruitment will start on November 24 and will end on December 28, 2024. Shortlisted candidates are posted in various sectors like Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Will be done.

Selection Process

The selection process will include a Computer Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Test, and Document Verification.

Paper pattern

CBT will have 80 questions of two marks each. 0.50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The paper will be divided into 4 parts – General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English or Hindi.
There are 20 questions in each section. All questions will be of multiple choice type. The examination will be conducted in English and Hindi only.
