TN TRB Recruitment 2024: Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TNTRB) has started the registration process for the recruitment of Assistant Professors in Tamil Nadu Collegiate Educational Service. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for TN TRB Recruitment by visiting the official website of the Commission, trb.tn.gov.in.

The TN TRB recruitment drive aims to fill 4,000 assistant professor posts in government arts, science, and education colleges. The last date to apply for recruitment to these posts is April 29, 2024, till 5 pm.

TN TRB Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

TN TRB Recruitment selection process consists of a written examination and interview. TN TRB written exam is tentatively scheduled to be held on 4th August. The written examination will be of a total of 200 marks, which is divided into two parts.

TN TRB Recruitment 2024: Exam Pattern

Paper 1 is of 100 marks and is divided into two sections. Section A consists of 50 compulsory questions of one mark each. The sectional time limit for Section A is 1 hour. Section B consists of eight descriptive-type questions from the selected topics. Candidates will have to make any five attempts. Each question is of 10 marks.
Paper 2 is also divided into two sections – Section A and B. Section A consists of 50 multiple-choice questions of 1 mark each. The sectional time limit for Section A is 1 hour. Section B consists of eight descriptive-type questions from the selected topics. Candidates will have to make any five attempts. Each question is of 10 marks. The time limit for Section B is 2 hours.

The interview round has a weightage of 30 marks. If the number of vacancies is more than five, candidates 2x the number of vacancies will be shortlisted for interview, and if less than five, candidates three times the number of vacancies will be called for interview.
