The older DiMera has plenty at stake here as he is not only Johnny’s dad but also a victim of his actions . Given this, Belle’s promise is likely to have something to do with ensuring a fair trial. Given the conflicts of interest involved, this subplot will be the dominant thread of Days of Our Lives on July 4. In fact, even Chanel (Raven Bowens) frets about the case. Abe ( James Reynolds), meanwhile, tries to check in on her. He is worried that his step-daughter ignoring her well-being because of the Johnny situation.
Also, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) contact Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), likely to have a chat regarding growing concerns over Rachel Black (Alice Halsey). Rachel is set to testify soon and this is taking a toll on her physically.
Rachel’s stomachache to return?There’s also a distinct possibility of Rachel’s stomach issues returning, especially if she’s still hiding something important about the events that unfolded the night EJ was shot. With things getting out of hand, Marlena might be the only hope. She may prove to be the sole person who can help Rachel deal with the reality and the accompanying backlash.
