Justin Bieber surprise drops seventh album 'Swag'
On July 11, less than a day after announcing his new project, Justin Bieber released his seventh studio album, titled Swag. The 20-track surprise release marks his return after 2021’s Justice, and offers insight into his current personal life. Tracks like “WALKING AWAY” and “DADZ LOVE” reflect on his marriage to Hailey Bieber and their role as parents to their 10-month-old son Jack Blues Bieber.
The release followed a black-and-white family-themed album cover showing Bieber standing beside Hailey, who held baby Jack in her arms. More images from the same shoot were also posted, including one where Bieber is seated on a floral couch with Jack on his lap.
Hailey Bieber reacts to album and artworkFollowing the album’s reveal, Hailey Bieber, 28, made her support clear by reposting the family portrait on her Instagram story. She included a direct message with it, writing, “Is it finally clocking to you f--king losers?”
Swag includes collaborations with Gunna, Sexyy Redd, and Cash Cobain, but the album also signals a deeper return for Bieber to music as a medium for self-expression. In past interviews, he spoke about his fear of returning to the studio after struggling with health issues that led to the cancellation of his Purpose tour in 2017.
Speaking to Zane Lowe in 2020, Bieber had said, “I was dealing with a lot of fear... afraid of the process.” He admitted concerns about what he would sing about and whether it would be accepted. A turning point came when he joined Ariana Grande on stage during Coachella 2019, which helped him rediscover his confidence. “Oh, this is what I do,”
Since welcoming Jack, Justin and Hailey have been sharing snapshots of their life as new parents. In January 2025, the couple vacationed in Aspen, Colorado, enjoying time in the snow. In April, Hailey posted a mirror selfie wearing a leather jacket she helped design for Skylrk, Justin’s new clothing brand. Just months after Jack's birth, the couple were also seen taking an afternoon stroll, smiling and relaxed.
Justin Bieber’s Swag blends music, family, and self-reflection—marking a new chapter that feels both personal and public. For more news and updates from the world of OTT, and celebrities from Bollywood and Hollywood, keep reading Indiatimes Entertainment.
