Shaitaan BO: Ajay Devgn Starrer Sees Drop

Last Friday saw the release of Shaitaan, the supernatural thriller directed by Vikas Bahl and starring actors Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, and Jyothika in the key parts. The  recently released movie did well at the box office, however its first Monday's receipts were down.

According to the website Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 7 Crore which brought its collection to Rs 61.00 crore.

For the unversed, According to the website, Shaitaan made Rs 14.75 crore on its opening day in India.

Additionally, Shaitaan's first weekend earnings overseas came to Rs. 15.26 crore (USD 1.86 million), bringing its total weekend gross collection to Rs. 80.31 crore (USD 9.80 million). This is Ajay Devgn's second-highest international debut.

What Is Shaitaan About?

Under the auspices of Jio Studios, Devgn Films, and Panorama Studios, Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak produce Shaitaan, which is directed by Vikas. The movie is a Hindi adaptation of Krishnadev Yagnik's 2023 Gujarati film Vash, which was also written and directed. The movie is about a man with magical abilities holding a family captive in their house.
