 cardiac arrest, he immediately began cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), ultimately saving her life.

Sharing the incident on X, Dr. Prasad posted a picture of the woman on the ground and a video of her being taken away on a stretcher, stating, "As I was waiting in queue....one lady had syncope and cardiac arrest in front of me. There was no pulse and I started immediate CPR ... luckily she got ROSC within minutes."

His post on X garnered over 2,24,000 views, with netizens praising his quick thinking and timely action. One user wrote, "Sir may be you were meant to be in the queue to save this woman, thank God you were there. God bless you." Another user expressed, "Hats off to you, doc! CPR training should be mandatory for all professionals for times like these. Your quick thinking has saved a life. Thank you."

"Commendable doctor! No amount of words suffice for your timely service!" wrote another. Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha Election proceeded across 14 seats in Karnataka, with a turnout estimated at 69.23 per cent for Phase 2 on April 26.

Dr. Prasad completed his MBBS in Andhra Pradesh and obtained his Doctorate in National Board (DrNB) Nephrology at Narayana Health Centre. He previously worked in Tumakuru for two years before returning to Narayana Health Centre two years ago.

In one of the pivotal constituencies, Bangalore South, incumbent Member of Parliament Tejasvi Surya sought reelection against a formidable challenge from Soumya Reddy, daughter of state minister Ramalinga Reddy, who narrowly missed victory in the 2023 Assembly election in Jayanagar by a margin of just 16 votes.
