Before Manoj Bajpayee, This South Indian Superstar Was Supposed To Do 'Family Man'

While Manoj Bajpayee essayed the role to perfection and it is actually extremely difficult to imagine anyone else doing it the way he did, many people do not know that he was not the original choice for makers, Raj & DK. According to reports, the makers wrote the script with megastar Chiranjeevi as the protagonist. The South actor has qualms about the nature of the role and was concerned if this would be accepted well by his fans. Raj & DK apparently were also ready to amend the script and let go of the kids of the character to accommodate his wish.
