Sodhi from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, actor Gurucharan Singh goes missing; police files kidnapping case
Actor Gurucharan Singh who rose to nationwide fame after playing Roshan Singh Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been missing since April 22, 2024.
Gurucharan Singh’s father Hargit Singh filed a missing complaint which was lodged on April 25, 2024.

A police source stated, “Missing complaint was filed around 4 days back in Palam, South Delhi. Based on this, police are investigating the case. No FIR has been filed as of now. All investigation is being done based on the missing complaint. He (Gurucharan Singh) was last spotted near Delhi airport. Police are now trying to get his call records to know who he last spoke to on call or via message.”
According to an India Today report, police has now filed a kidnapping case and an FIR has been registered under Section 365 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
After its initial investigation, Police stated that the actor was supposed to catch the 8:30 am flight from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on April 22 but he didn’t take the flight.
Two days after he went missing, i.e. till April 24, his number was active and several transactions were done.

When asked if she was in touch with the actor, she replied, “I have not been in touch with him since last June. We did not speak to each other after that. Earlier,we were in touch. He sent me a congratulatory message in February on Taarak Mehta
In his last Instagram post on April 22, Gurucharan had shared a number of pictures with his father with the caption, “Very divine birthday father”.

The actor was known for playing Roshan Singh Sodhi in the popular show TMKOC, he, however, quit it in 2020.
