Eye-popping, unique Chrome Gold-wrapped Mahindra Scorpio N delivered to 'Golden Boys'

In what could be seen as a head-turning vehicle, two social media influencers , popularly known as the ‘golden guys’ for their inclination towards gold jewellery and gold-themed belongings, a Mahindra Scorpio N finished in chrome gold scheme has been delivered. The video of the SUV with eye-popping colour scheme, was shared on social media and has since garnered significant attention.

While specific information on the customisation details remain unclosed, the result can be viewed as unique, something that you won’t usually spot on Indian roads. The gold-wrapped SUV might not suit everyone’s taste but for someone who wants a loud presence and a whole lot of bling, it might do the trick. As seen in the video, the stock elements of the Scorpio N seamlessly blend with the chrome gold.

Speaking of the Scorpio N here, the entire exterior of the SUV has been wrapped in shiny gold, including the bumpers, hood, roof, and even the ORVMs. The SUV also boasts gold-plated multi-spoke aftermarket alloy wheels. On the other hand, it gets black-tinted windows, which is also an illegal modification as per the traffic rules in our country. While the interiors are not visible, the windshield glass too gets a hue of gold.

In fact, the SUV is also a testament to the growing trend of personalisation of vehicles in India. However, it should be noted that car modifications that do not fall under the car modification rules under the Motor Vehicle Act of 1998 face the risk of legal penalties and can be also impounded in some cases. Also, in order to change the colour of your car in India, you should get approvals from your regional transport office first and the same colour should also be updated on the vehicle’s registration certificate.

The Mahindra Scorpio N is priced from Rs 13.60 lakh, ex-showroom for the base-spec variant with prices going all the way up to Rs 20.37 lakh, ex-showroom, for the top-of-the-line Z8L trim.
