Lamborghini Gallardo burnt to ashes in Hyderabad: Here's why

In a shocking incident in Hyderabad, a Lamborghini Gallardo , estimated to worth nearly Rs 1 crore, was deliberately set on fire. The sports car was reduced to ashes and the incident comes as a fallout from a business dispute between two car resellers .

As per the police officials, a complaint was filed by Neeraj, a car reseller who had bought the luxury car from its original owner.
The accused, identified as Ahmed, decided to meet Neeraj on Saturday to resolve their dispute but the argument escalated, resulting in the former setting the car ablaze. By the time fire department vehicles arrived at the scene, the car was engulfed in flames and severely damaged. A video of the burning Lamborghini has also been doing the rounds on the internet.

The burnt remains of the Lamborghini Gallardo have become a grim reminder of the lengths to which disputes can escalate. Now speaking of the car that got burnt, it was the Gallardo Spyder. Although this is a substantially older gen model and could only be found in the resale markets, it used to house a powerful 5-litre NA V10 engine that made 513 hp and 510 Nm of peak torque.

In 2013, the Italian supercar manufacturer decided to end production of the Gallardo. They stopped making it to pave the way for the much more modern Huracán. The Lamborghini Huracán took over from the Gallardo in both the model lineup and production line at the factory in Sant'Agata in Bolognese, Italy.
