Yogi government transferred 8 IPS officers, Amitabh Yash became ADG from IG

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 8 senior officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS). Eight IPS officers, including STF IG Amitabh Yash and Bhawan and Kalyan IG Navneeti Sekera, have been promoted, official sources said on Sunday. STF Additional Director General of Police and Inspector General of Police Amitabh Yash will now take over the responsibility of Additional Director General of Police. Similarly, Additional Director General of Police and Inspector General of Police Bhawan and Kalyan Navneet Sekera posted at Police Headquarters will now be called ADG. He said that IG and ADG Fire Service Vijay Prakash has been promoted as ADG, while DIG Prosecution Vinay Kumar Yadav will now be IG in the department. DIG Hiralal of Economic Offenses Research Organization has been promoted as IG. DIG Shivshankar Singh will now be IG in PTC Moradabad.


In Women Power Line 1090, SP Ravi Shankar Chhavi has been promoted to the post of DIG while SP Technical Services Pratibha Ambedkar has been made DIG in the department. However, all these officers were also handling the post of promotion.
