Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc's 1st Movie Unveils New Trailer, Theme Songs By LiSA & Aimer

The first movie in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba: Infinity Castle trilogy has dropped a brand new trailer, featuring never-before-seen footage from the highly anticipated film.

The trailer also revealed the artists involved for the film’s theme songs– LiSA and Aimer.

LiSA will perform “Shine in the Cruel Night,” while Aimer will perform “A World Where the Sun Never Rises.” Both songs will be released on global streaming platforms on July 18, 2025.

Both artists are no strangers to the franchise. LiSA performed the opening theme song “Gurenge” for season 1, as well as “Homura,” the theme song for the film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train.

She also returned for the second season’s Mugen Train Arc with the opening theme “Akeboshi” and the ending theme “Shirogane.” Meanwhile, Aimer performed the opening “Zankyosanka” and ending “Asa ga Kuru” for the Entertainment District Arc.

In addition to the trailer and song announcements, a new visual of Akaza was also released.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Arc anime film will hit Japanese theatres on July 18, 2025.

The trilogy marks the final arc of the series, and will be distributed globally by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment, with the exception of select Asian territories, including Japan.

Season 1 of the anime aired from April to September 2019, with a sequel film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, released in October 2020 and became the highest-grossing anime film and Japanese film of all time.

The second season of the anime series aired from October 2021 to February 2022, while a compilation film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – To the Swordsmith Village

, was released in February 2023.

Third season aired from April to June 2023 while another compilation film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – To the Hashira Training, was released in February 2024. A fourth season aired from May to June 2024.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. It was serialized in Shueisha’s shonen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020, with its chapters collected in 23 tankobon volumes.
