McDonald's Reveals What Sung Jinwoo, Luffy & Other Anime Characters Would Order For Breakfast

McDonald’s official X account surprised anime fans on May 25, 2025, by sharing a series of fictional breakfast orders inspired by popular anime characters, including Solo Leveling’s Sung Jinwoo, One Piece’s Luffy, and Apothecary Diary‘s Maomao.

The posts imagined what each character would eat if they walked into a McDonald’s.

According to the post, Sung Jinwoo orders one Egg McMuffin and ten servings of grape jam. The tweet read, “brb activating domain of the monarch skill with grape jam.

”

Other characters’ orders included:

• Colossal Titan (Attack on Titan) – 1 small coffee

• Frieren (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End) – 1 steak, egg & cheese bagel

• Yoichi Isagi (Blue Lock) – 1 hotcakes, 10 hash browns

• Kafka Hibino (Kaiju No. 8) – 8 of nearly everything: Egg McMuffins, McGriddles, steak, egg & cheese bagels, hotcakes, big breakfasts, hash browns, sausage biscuits, sausage burritos, and coffee

• Maomao (The Apothecary Diaries) – 1 oatmeal, 1 hot chocolate

• Ranma Saotome (Ranma ½) – 1 fruit & maple oatmeal, 1 McCafé iced latte

• Ichigo Kurosaki (Bleach) – 1 big breakfast with hotcakes, 1 ketchup, 1 strawberry preserve, 2 chocolate chip cookies, 1 Coca-Cola

• Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece) – 1 steak, egg & cheese bagel with extra steak, bacon, and sausage (“this was his second order of the day btw”)

• Momo and Okarun (Dandadan) – 2 egg McMuffins, 1 orange juice, 1 milk (“is this a date or two friends catching up?”)

This campaign was launched to celebrate Crunchyroll’s Anime Awards 2025.
