Renault sources its raw materials locally. It helps the company to price its products aggressively. Renault updates the vehicle regularly to keep pace with the competition. Despite these efforts, they could not maintain consistency in sales because of various factors.
The slowdown in the automobile industry, coupled with the uncertainty in the BSVI compliance norms has made many manufacturers offer discounts to boost sales. Some of them prefer to introduce new models or update the existing ones. Renault belongs to the latter category.
It is introducing the Renault Kwid Facelift in the next few months. The 2020 Renault Kwid Climber has also been spotted testing by many people. Though the Renault Kwid is in existence since 2015, the Renault Kwid Climber was introduced in 2017.
Spy shots reveal that the updated Renault Kwid Climber takes inspiration from the Chinese variant, the K-ZE. The cosmetic updates include LED DRLs, newly designed headlamps, a new front bumper, and a horizontal air intake.
There are changes to the rear end, as well. It includes C-shaped LED inserts and redesigned tail lamps. The 2020 Renault Kwid Climber interiors feature an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and digital speedometer from the Renault Triber. Colour contrasts spruce up the interior features such as AC surround vents, door trim, and gear level handle. A 1L petrol engine powers both the variants of the Renault Kwid Climber.
The supposedly BSVI-compliant engine delivers a power of 68ps and torque of 91Nm. Coming with a manual or automatic transmission system, the Renault Kwid Climber price is Rs 4.85 lakhs for the automatic version and Rs 4.55 lakhs for the manual trim.
