Nissan India has released the second teaser image of its all-new SUV which will be launched in the first half 2020-21 in the country. The company's first B-segment compact SUV will be developed on the philosophy of “Make in India, Make for the World”. It will feature the latest technology as a part of Nissan Intelligent Mobility while taking on the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and Ford EcoSport.

The teaser image showcases the tail-lamp design of the new sub 4-meter SUV from Nissan. The tail-lamp cluster will be an LED wraparound unit with sharper edges and honeycomb pattern. The first teaser image had revealed the overall silhouette of the upcoming SUV. The styling cues would be borrowed from the Kicks as the first teaser revealed an identical floating roofline with silver-colored roof rails. It is also been believed that the SUV will flaunt a wider C-Pillar with a triangular quarter glass at the rear. A spoiler might well be the part of equipment list too.

It is being learnt that the new compact SUV will be underpinning the modified version of Group's affordable CMF-A architecture which is also seen with the Renault Triber. There are no details available regarding the engine and transmission but we believe it will borrow the BS 6 compliant 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine from the Renault Triber. The Triber with 1.0L turbo petrol engine debuted at the 2020 Auto Expo. The feature list is also not revealed yet but as Nissan has said it will be a "feature-rich premium offering".
