Kia Sonet (QYI) Concept Official Design Sketches Teased

Kia Motors India has officially confirmed the Kia Sonet (Kia QYI) Concept global debut at the Auto Expo 2020. The company has released the two design sketches of the upcoming Kia compact SUV. 

Speaking of the Kia Sonet styling, it looks like an SUV in the size with a concave face and has an impressive front view. Straight lines at the sides, conventional roofline and good ground clearance will be some of the exciting features of Kia Sonet (QYI). 

The curvy bonnet, aggressive headlamps, beltline over the sides make the Kia Sonet SUV appealing. The rear will come with wraparound tail lamps with LED strip and modern-styled back glass. This Kia compact SUV concept will be displayed at the 2020 Auto Expo. 

As Autoportal has reported earlier, the compact SUV caught on Indian roads with camouflage twice.

Based on the Hyundai Venue platform, the Kia Sonet (QYI) might share the engine and transmission options with this SUV. The Kia Sonet is likely to have three engine options - 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol, 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel, and 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol. These engine options will be mated with a six-speed manual and seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Besides, Kia might offer a 1.5-litre petrol engine with CVT on Kia Sonet. 

The Kia Sonet (Kia QYI) Concept India launch will take place in the later-2020.
