KTM 125 Duke and KTM RC 125 Price Hiked, Details Inside

  • KTM 125 Duke and KTM RC 125 smallest-engined models in lineup.

  • Price has gone up by approximately Rs 2250 for the 125 Duke.

  • The price for RC 125 has gone up by approximately Rs 1500.

  • Prices are now Rs 1.32 lakh for 125 Duke and Rs 1.49 lakh for the RC 125.

  • KTM has increased the prices for its smallest twins, the RC 125 and the 125 Duke. The price increase is Rs 2248 for the Duke and Rs 1527 for the RC. This reflects the closing down of the introductory price offer that the two KTMs were launched with.

The two 125cc KTMs were launched last November at an introductory price – with the price increase, they have now priced at Rs 1.32 lakh for the 125 Duke and Rs 1.49 lakh for the RC125.

Both the 125cc KTMs use the same engine, a 124.7cc single-cylinder fuel-injected liquid-cooled unit that generates 14.3bhp and 12Nm. They are also the only 125cc products to offer a six-speed gearbox. The Duke weighs marginally less than the RC thanks to the lack of a fairing, but the seating position is different thanks to the different positioning of the handlebars.

After the price increase, the KTM 125cc twins still stay in the same bracket as they were before. The KTM 125 Duke competes with the likes of the Yamaha MT15, although the Yamaha FZ25 is also priced at the same price point. The RC 125 competes with the Yamaha YZF R15 V3, and the Bajaj Pulsar RS200
