Skoda has launched the Octavia Onyx edition with prices starting at Rs 19.99 lakh for the petrol and Rs 21.99 lakh for the diesel, ex-showroom. The car is available in three exterior colors; blue, red, and white.
The Onyx is a cosmetic variant of the Octavia and as such has a lot of black elements on its exterior and interior. On the outside, it has carbon black door foils, gloss-black 16-inch alloy wheels, gloss black mirrors, and a gloss black spoiler as well.
Talking of the Skoda Octavia Onyx interior, it has black leather upholstery, and a three-spoke flat bottomed steering wheel with perforated leather and paddle shifts. The driver and passenger seats are 12 way electrically adjustable and the driver's seat has three memory slots.
Safety in the Skoda Octavia Onyx Edition consists of 6 airbags, adaptive headlamps, ABS, EBD, mechanical brake ASSIST, multi-collision brake, hydraulic brake assist, ASR, and an electronic differential lock.
Driveline options for the Octavia Onyx Edition are the same as the regular range. You can choose between a 178bhp, 250Nm 1.8 liter petrol engine and a 140bhp, 320Nm 2.0 liter TDI diesel. The petrol gets a 7 speed DSG automatic transmission while the diesel gets a 6 speed DSG auto.
