Shocking! Man dies while jogging in Mumbai

In yet another instance of sudden cardiac death, a 61-year-old man collapsed while jogging at Mumbai’s Marine Drive on December 4 morning. The man was rushed to the Saifee Hospital where he was declared ‘brought dead’ by doctors.

According to Mumbai police, the preliminary cause of his death could be a heart attack.

The deceased body was handed over to the family members after a postmortem.

The Marine Drive police registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) in the case and further details are awaited.

Notably, several deaths, specially young men, have been reported recently.

On November 12, 46-year-old television actor Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi collapsed after working out at a gym in Mumbai. He died of a sudden cardiac arrest.

On September 21, popular standup comedian and actor Raju Srivastava (58) died at AIIMS, Delhi after suffering from a major cardiac arrest. He also suffered cardiac arrest triggered by a treadmill run.
