Delhi: The names and other details of Covid-only hospitals in the capital

To tackle the spread of novel coronavirus, the Delhi government has dedicated a number of its hospitals to treat the Covid-positive patients.

According to the government order, the following hospitals/blocks have been declared as dedicated hospitals:

— Lok Nayak Hospital and GB Pant Hospital (Jawahar Lal Nehru Marg,Delhi - 110002)
— Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital (Tahirpur, New Delhi - 110064)
— Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital (Shahdara,Delhi - 110095)
— Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital (Hari Nagar, New Delhi - 110064)
— Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital (Sector 6, Rohini, New Delhi - 110085)

Apart from these govt hospitals, three big private hospitals have also set up dedicated facilities for Covid patients.

Sir Ganga Ram Hospital has named its affiliated hospital Sir Ganga Ram Kolmet Hospital (Pusa Road) as a Covid-only facility, as approved by the government of Delhi. The main Sir Ganga Ram Hospital will now not be a COVID-19 facility.

Apollo Hospital and the eastern block of Max hospital in Saket have also been dedicated for COVID-19 patients. The block in Max can accommodate up to 328 beds for patients, while Apollo Hospital has earmarked 50 beds for the purpose.

Besides providing care for patients, virtual OPD has also been started and this will continue even after the lockdown is lifted.
