Vacancies on national career service portal hit new highs

The labour ministry on Tuesday said active vacancies on its National Career Service portal have reached an all-time high of 0.48 million spanning across diverse sectors, indicating a boost in employment in the country.

The previous all-time high active vacancies were 0.32 million in June, 2019. The top five sectors hiring include finance and insurance, operations and support, hotel and food service and catering, health sector and IT & communication.
