JEE Main: Students lash out over delay in admit cards for January 31 exam, NTA addresses concerns

Various JEE main aspirants who are scheduled to sit for the test on January 31 have still not received their admit cards leading to apprehensions among the aspirants.

Many aspirants took to Twitter to raise their concerns over the issue while the National Testing Agency (NTA) have responded to some of the aspirants on the microblogging platform.

Thomas, a claimed JEE Main aspirant, tweeted that he was "very upset" with the @DG NTA over the JEEexam scheduled for January 31. Although he is about 500 kilometres away from home and only has around 15 hours remaining, he has yet to receive his admission card. Do these officials not realise how much anguish and stress they are causing the students to experience? The National Testing Agency a few minutes later tweeted back asking the worried aspirant to share his application number.

Another candidate, Pallavi, who also is a JEE candidate, expressed her worries on the delay in receiving the admit card on Twitter. She wrote r, For the Jee Main 2023 session-I test, NTA has assigned Kanpur as a centre city, even though she didn't fill out as a city centre choice, because her birthplace is Gorakhpur, which was her initial choice.

She also mentioned that she can't possibly travel so far since she is a female. She had also written to NTA about this on January 2, but they hadn't addressed it until now. She also provided her application number and requested that the problem be resolved right now or else she won’t be able to participate in the examination.
