Tata Motors hikes prices of Nexon compact SUV

Tata Motors is set to hike the price its Nexon SUV up to Rs 18,000. The list of variations has also been revised together with the price hike. Tata Motors has also discontinued some Nexon SUV variants as part of the company’s objective to update its product lineup from time to time.

Here are the six variants that are discontinued- XZA, XZ, XZ + (O), XZ + (O) Dark, and XZA +(O) Dark.

However, among the additional special edition variants that will remain on the menu are Kaziranga, Jet, and Dark.

Further, in substitution of the discontinued variants, XZ+ (HS), XZ+ (P), XZA+ (L), XZA+ (P), XZ+ (L), and XZA+ (HS) have been introduced for Nexon (P). These variants are identical in every way to the original Tata Nexon; however, the only distinction you can find is in the set of features included.

L, HS and P variants of ZXA+ and ZX+ are distinguishable because of the features related to information and practicality. The ZXA+ (P) and ZXA+ (L) versions have capabilities such as live car diagnostics, iRA connection platform, trip analysis, geo-fencing, smartphone-based remote control, and live vehicle location. However, the Nexon ZXA + (HS) lacks these features.

As for the tilting motorised sunroof feature, ZXA+ (L) doesn’t have it.

For all top-tier models of the Nexon, systems such as electronic traction control, electronic stability control, camera and ultrasonic sensor assistance in the reverse park, and rollover mitigations, among others, are all standard.

Lastly, Global NCAP has given Tata Nexon a 5-star safety rating, greatly contributing to the brand's excellent public opinion.
