Ed Sheeran meets Ayushmann Khurrana, gets treated to some delicious pinni

Ed Sheeran is having the time of his life in India. The pop sensation, who is on a tour to India, was seen posing with a bunch of school kids for a selfie as well as partying with Bollywood celebs.

The singer also met singer-actor Ayushmann Khurrana at his home. The ‘ Vicky Donor

’ star reportedly treated the ‘Shape Of You’ hitmaker to some homemade pinni.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Khurrana revealed that it was a treat to interact with the ‘Perfect’ singer and get to know him and his creative process. “I have admired Ed Sheeran as an artiste for years now. As a fellow musician, I have always wanted to connect with him and discuss how his mind works. I surprised him with my mother's homemade Pinni! This is how we have always welcomed anyone at our home. Ed is in India, our country, to entertain us. He is at our home and we need to tell him how much we love him and his music too. So, I hope this gift will be a memorable one,” he told the news publication.

The ‘An Action Hero’ actor took to Instagram on Tuesday and shared a selfie where he could be seen posing with Sheeran. “A Polaroid keepsake from my time with Ed. Great meeting you, @teddysphotos..”

The singer, who is on a tour to India as part of his '+ – = · x' tour, was also seen posing with some school children in Mumbai. He was also seen shaking a leg with singer Armaan Malik to the Telugu chartbuster ‘Butta Bomma’ from the Allu Arjun-Pooja Hegde-starrer ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’. At the end of the song, both the stars recreated Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic open-arms pose.

The singer will hold a live concert at the Mahalaxmi Race course in Mumbai on March 16.
