India Inc bosses share what makes people productive

The continued work-from-home scenario has seen many top bosses sharing their insights on work, life, work-life balance and a bunch of other things that have helped them navigate the past few months.

In one such instance, Rishad Premji shared some important advice for companies facing the 'corporate dilemma' of investing in their employees.

The Wipro Chairman on Monday night shared a meme - showing two executives discussing the advantages and disadvantages of training a new employee - on Twitter. In his post, he stressed that people are the 'lifeline of all businesses'.

The 43-year-old tycoon believes in investing in employees which will help them grow. "We (companies) must treat them (employees) well so they stay," he added.


Earlier this month, the IT boss had also shared his views on diversity at workplace. He felt that companies should not include more women to the board to just meet metrics or be inclusive, but because it is better for the firm.

Premji had pointed out that having a diverse workforce will bring in better ideas, solutions and results.


"It (diversity) matters in all aspects of our life and certainly in our organisations," he wrote.

Meanwhile, RPG Group Chairman Harsh Goenka also shared his two cents on the idea of productivity.

Posting an image on Twitter, the 62-year-old businessman who is very active on the micro-blogging platform said that the right mix of exercise, diet, sleep, hard work and free-time can improve people's productivity.
